Description
The Chapman DeMary Trail is a 1-mile nature park located in the last stand of old-growth forest in the Town of Purcellville. Though the land is privately owned, the trail is open to the public. A conservation easement held by the town protects this 10-acre park. It is named after land owner John Chapman and naturalist/retired Loudoun teacher John DeMary. The trail runs along the South Fork Catoctin Creek. After you’ve spent time on the Chapman DeMary Trail, be sure to visit nearby Blue Ridge Center.
