Discover the history of the Harrisonburg Fire Department, located on the third floor of the Public Safety Building. The Harrisonburg Fire Department Museum features a rich display of historic fire memorabilia such as uniforms, medals, equipment, old fire alarms, and photographs. “I took my kids to the museum and we had a great time! I highly recommend it. The kids had recently talked about fire safety at school so the museum was a nice follow-up. There is tons of information and photographs and everyone was so friendly.
